Everything you need to know about Shriwardhan — where to go, what to eat, when to visit, and how to make the most of this coastal town.

About Shriwardhan

Shriwardhan is a small coastal town in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, situated on the Arabian Sea coast of the Konkan region. It is best known for its clean beaches, ancient Ganpati temple, and the calm, unhurried pace of life that has made it a favourite escape for visitors from Mumbai and Pune.

Historically, Shriwardhan is also associated with the Peshwas — Balaji Vishwanath, the first Peshwa, was born here, and the town has several heritage landmarks connected to Maratha history.
